Atlanta, Oakland City – Local police are on a city-wide manhunt for a thief who has allegedly broken into an Oakland City residence, making away with a vehicle and banking cards. The unsettling incident occurred on Oakdale Road NE, with the culprit disturbing the safety and security of unsuspecting residents.
The crime was reported to police at approximately 7:41 a.m. on May 3rd. The homeowner disclosed to the police that he and his spouse had retired to bed without any unusual events. They recollected that his wife’s backpack was left on the kitchen counter upon retiring. However, upon awakening, the bag was missing.
Alongside the sudden disappearance of the backpack, the couple’s 2005 model Toyota Rav4, parked in their driveway, was conspicuously absent. Home security analyses and surrounding CCTV footage confirmed the vehicle theft.
