Music icons Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys are set to make waves in the art world with their latest endeavor. The superstar duo’s impressive art collection is now on display at the High Museum of Art in Atlanta. This exhibit, “Giants: Art from the Dean Collection of Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys,” opens to the public today and will remain available for viewing until January 19, 2025.
Organized by the Brooklyn Museum, the exhibit made its debut earlier this year and features nearly 100 works by Black American, African, and African diasporic artists. Now, this cultural treasure trove has found a temporary home at the High Museum, marking the only opportunity in the Southeast to experience this unique collection.
The collection is diverse and vibrant, showcasing paintings, photographs, and sculptures from both established and emerging artists, such as Nick Cave, Amy Sherald, and Ebony G. Patterson. Guests will also find intriguing elements of the couple’s other collection interests, ranging from musical equipment to BMX bikes.
Admission to “Giants: Art from the Dean Collection of Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys” is included with the museum entry fee, which is priced at $23.50 per person. The High Museum of Art, located at 1280 Peachtree Street Northeast, welcomes visitors from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesdays through Saturdays, and noon to 5 p.m. on Sundays.
Moreover, today’s exhibition launch coincides with Swizz Beatz’s birthday, making it a doubly special day for Atlanta’s art scene. Visitors can get a sneak peek of this eclectic exhibit and join in the birthday celebrations by clicking the video player in this article.
