Residents of West Atlanta are witnessing a rise in thefts from vehicles, with the latest incident involving the theft of a gun, laptop, wallet, and a camera. The crime scene was the 3200 block of Spreading Oak Drive SW, close to Lynhurst Drive SW, reported on April 25.

The unsuspecting victims informed the local law enforcement that the theft occurred in broad daylight, between 1 pm and 3 pm, adding to the city’s growing concern over public safety. In a surprise twist, the suspected thief manages to pull off the heist while driving a white Kia Stinger with an ALM front tag and a drive out rear tag.

Informants wishing to remain anonymous can do so and may qualify for a reward of up to $2,000 without having to disclose their name or any personal identifying information.
