Stephen Lawso Joins Dentons Public Policy Group In Atlanta

Atlanta, Georgia – Prominent international law firm, Dentons, announced today the appointment of Stephen Lawso as the newest member of its Public Policy practice group. Lawso will be based in Dentons’ Atlanta office, where he will assume a leadership role in the firm’s public affairs segment.

Lawso brings vast and impressive expertise in the fields of public affairs, strategic communications and public policy to his new role. His background includes a proven track record of representing corporate and nonprofit entities, advocacy groups and governmental clients at all levels. He has also amassed significant experience in governmental policy, crisis communications, media relations and strategic messaging for a variety of clients including Fortune 500 companies, elected officials, trade associations and issue-based clients.

Prior to joining Dentons, Lawso served as President of Full Focus Communications, a full-service public affairs firm handling an array of corporate and advocacy clients. His career includes noteworthy roles advising prominent Floridian and Georgian public figures such as current US Senators Rick Scott and Kelly Loeffler, Georgia Lieutenant Governor Burt Jones, and Georgia Speaker of the House Jon Burns. Through these roles, Lawso’s career merges communications, politics and government.
