Added features also comprise of signage/wayfinding, maintenance and improvement to Pryor and Hill bridges, pedestrian lighting and security cameras, landscaping and more.
Prediction for the completion of construction is set for December 2025 with an anticipated re-opening date in the first quarter of 2026.
Signs will be installed at closed locations to alert the public about the ongoing construction and suggested detour paths for pedestrians and cyclists. It should be noted that these are only suggested routes and individuals should choose a route that suits their safety, their comfort level, and their mode of transportation best.
The following detour routes have been suggested:

As the concept of the Atlanta BeltLine originates from grassroots community efforts, public involvement remains critical. Continued feedback from the community can ensure that the project aligns with the needs and expectations of the local people. The public is encouraged to attend virtual community meetings or provide comments on Master Plan updates to remain involved in the process.
The Atlanta BeltLine team thanks everyone for their patience as the necessary upgrades to the Southside Trail section continues.
