The current forecast indicates that this storm will likely travel over Central America before heading towards the Gulf of Mexico. It’s not anticipated to regain hurricane strength before reaching Florida, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves; it’s still worth keeping an eye on!

A Record-Breaking Hurricane Season?

This hurricane season has already seen its fair share of action, with hurricanes Debby, Helene, and Milton causing some serious damage and even fatalities in the Sunshine State. If this new storm were to hit Florida as a hurricane, it would make history as the fourth hurricane to strike the state this season, breaking the previous record of three set in 2004.
