Across the region, over 20 roads were closed in downtown Charleston, with reports of flooded streets in places like North Charleston where light poles were tossed around by the winds. Meanwhile, flooding alerts extended to areas in Cordele and Georgetown, Georgia, reaching as far as Geneva, Alabama. With nearly two dozen Flash Flood Warnings issued across the Southeast, the impact of the relentless storms was felt far and wide.
