The event, one of 180 watch parties across Georgia, was hosted by U.S. Representative Nanette Barrágan, Mayor of Birmingham Randall Woodfin, and former Chief Judge and TV personality Judge Glenda Hatchett.

Collier also highlighted the historical importance of African-American women supporting each other. “Showing up is important because historically when you think about African-American women and the community, we support each other,” she said. “The divine nine, the entire group, we’re all making sure we support the candidate so she can be successful.”
