Pickleball fans in Atlanta have something to look forward to! Dill Dinkers, a franchise that’s been making waves across the United States, is opening a brand-new location right in the heart of the West End. With a whopping 35,891 square feet of indoor space, this facility promises to be a pickleball paradise for players of all skill levels!
Located at 1200 White Street, Dill Dinkers is set to open its doors in the first quarter of 2025. The club will feature cutting-edge Pro-Cushion court surfaces that provide a top-notch playing experience. Players can look forward to enjoying individually fenced courts, which enhance the sense of competition while keeping the games safe and contained.
But that’s not all! Dill Dinkers will also include event space for tournaments or social gatherings, along with a pro shop where you can find all your pickleball gear. It sounds like the perfect spot to grab some friends and head out for a fun day of matches!
According to Daniel Hardeman, a regional developer for Dill Dinkers, this new location is more than just a place to play—it’s about bringing the community together. “We’re excited to come to the West End, a neighborhood with a strong sense of community,” he said. Their goal is to create a welcoming space where everyone feels comfortable playing and enjoying the sport.
Another key feature of this location is its direct connectivity to the BeltLine, a popular walking trail that connects different neighborhoods in Atlanta. Hardeman noted, “The direct connectivity to the BeltLine was a big deal for us since it’s central in bringing people and neighborhoods together.”
But why stop at just one location? Dill Dinkers has ambitious plans to expand throughout the Atlanta area, with a commitment to open 30 units—making this the company’s largest signed regional development agreement to date! Alongside Hardeman, his wife Laura, as well as Evelyn Orenbuch, Stuart Napshin, and Destin Dunham, they’re actively scouting several more spots to keep the pickleball momentum rolling.
Dill Dinkers currently boasts locations across states like Maryland, South Carolina, Texas, and beyond, so it’s clear they know how to make a pickleball community thrive!
As for the neighborhood itself, 1200 White Street is part of a larger mixed-use redevelopment project that spans 211,585 square feet. It will not only host Dill Dinkers but will also include retail shops, restaurants, and office spaces. This exciting transformation is likely to attract even more locals and businesses, turning the West End into a vibrant destination.
Nearby, you’ll find Lee + White, which features a food hall, breweries, and service providers, making this area a happening spot for food and fun! Local stakeholders believe Dill Dinkers is the perfect addition, with Evan Ziegler, President of Investments for Ackerman & Co., saying, “Dill Dinkers is a great addition to 1200 White Street and the West End community.”
With the popularity of pickleball skyrocketing, it’s clear that this new club is going to be a hot spot for fun and recreation. So, whether you’re a seasoned player or just curious to give it a try, mark your calendars for 2025! Dill Dinkers is ready to make a splash in Atlanta’s dynamic pickleball scene, and we can’t wait to see all the smiles on the courts!
