Atlantans enjoy going for walks, runs, or even leisurely afternoons in the park with their pets. In addition, the many parks in Atlanta offer numerous options for stunning photo ops.

By offering great and secure parks, facilities, and programs via strong leadership, teamwork, and creative thinking, the Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) is dedicated to fostering strong communities and a thriving economy. In order to provide residents and tourists with a setting that is judged safe, affordable, and enriching, DPR works to design, operate, and maintain the City’s public parks, recreation centers, and amenities.
