Community members enjoying Jersey Mike's on Day of Giving
On March 26, Jersey Mike’s will host its annual Day of Giving, donating 100% of sales from its 97 Atlanta locations to CURE Childhood Cancer. The initiative aims to aid local families affected by childhood cancer, building on last year’s success of raising over $500,000. This community-focused event also highlights local businesses contributing to impactful fundraising efforts, showcasing the power of collective action in fighting for a cause.
Metro Atlanta is gearing up for a heartwarming event on March 26 as Jersey Mike’s celebrates its annual Day of Giving. This special day sees all proceeds from Jersey Mike’s locations across the nation directed toward local charities, making a significant impact in communities.
In the Atlanta area alone, 97 Jersey Mike’s restaurants will contribute a whopping 100% of their sales to CURE Childhood Cancer. This Atlanta-based nonprofit has been dedicated to fighting childhood cancer since 1975 through research funding and support for families facing the challenges of a cancer diagnosis.
Last year, Jersey Mike’s Day of Giving was a huge success, raising over $500,000 for CURE Childhood Cancer. In Georgia, between 500 and 600 children are diagnosed with cancer each year, with many undergoing treatment in Atlanta. The funds raised from this initiative will go a long way in helping support these young fighters and their families.
As part of the event, families impacted by childhood cancer share their stories, including parents who have experienced the transformative support provided by CURE. One mother highlighted how essential the organization’s assistance was during her daughter’s battle against a rare form of cancer.
This vibrant event consistently sees high customer turnout, having established itself as one of the best sales days dedicated to a cause. Restaurant managers express enthusiasm for the community support received during this important day.
A recent segment highlighted local businesses like Popcorn Remix, a popcorn shop known for its unique flavors and commitment to fundraising efforts. Over the past six months, they’ve donated more than $40,000 to support local teams.
Beyond the Day of Giving, local media also shared various engaging segments, such as casting calls for “The Perfect Line Game Show” and auditions for upcoming performances at Summer at the Rock in Stone Mountain.
In addition, there was coverage of a man’s experience with limb lengthening surgery, alongside stories of the BoykinZ, a viral TikTok country sister quartet who recently gained recognition from a famous host during a popular talk show.
Mark your calendars for Jersey Mike’s Day of Giving! It’s a fantastic way to support a great cause while enjoying a delicious meal.
