Suspect in Atlanta Gas Station Theft, Police on the Hunt

Dreadlocked Thief Wanted by Atlanta Police

Atlanta police are on the hunt for a brazen thief who reportedly snatched money from a man’s hand in a gas station last month. The incident, which took place at the Citgo station on Delowe Drive SW, happened in broad daylight on the morning of March 15th.

Forceful Snatch Theft

A man found himself $100 poorer when the suspect grabbed the money out of his hand after he refused to buy the culprit alcohol. Despite immediate calls to the police, the suspect took off on foot before the authorities could arrive on the scene.

Description of the Suspect

The suspect remains at large; police have not been able to successfully identify him. He is described as a black male with distinctive dreadlocks, tattoos on both arms and his chest. Witnesses on the scene even noted that he might walk with a limp.

Following the incident, police released a surveillance video from inside the store showing the suspect, with a second video showing him making his escape. They urge anyone with information to come forward.
