Independence Day, a significant milestone in American history, is close at hand. Georgia promises to keep up its long-standing tradition with firework shows, delicious food, and various entertainment options set to illuminate each corner of the Peach State.
Americans commemorate the birth of the nation on this day. Celebrated with fireworks, parades, and gatherings, this tradition predates its designation as a federal holiday in 1941. This date signifies the adoption of the Declaration of Independence by 13 original colonies and the birth of a new nation.
