Atlanta, GA
Hold onto your gaming gear! Excitement is buzzing as DreamHack, the monumental gaming lifestyle festival hosted by the ESL FACEIT Group (EFG), is gearing up to turn Atlanta into a gamer’s paradise from October 4-6 at the Georgia World Congress Center.
This year’s DreamHack Atlanta promises a slew of thrilling activities and appearances. Leading the charge is Brennan Lee Mulligan, making his triumphant return to DreamHack after a hit debut this summer. Joining forces with luminaries like Zac Oyama, Erika Ishii, Anjali Bhimani, and Aliza Pearl, Mulligan will take fans on a singular new adventure designed just for DreamHack Atlanta. Expect spellbinding live roleplaying on the Tabletop Tavern stage, in partnership with Lynnvander, featuring acclaimed storytellers, writers, and actors.
More than 20 of the biggest names from Dimension 20, Critical Roll, and Lynvannder are expanding DreamHack’s roleplaying offerings, ensuring there’s no shortage of epic campaigns and intriguing quests for attendees to dive into.
Basketball aficionados, get ready! AMP creator Agent00 is set to transform the Main Stage into his personal basketball court with NBA 2K25 show matches. Fans, dust off those controllers because you’re in for a chance to win one of five grand prizes – and a special raffle prize for each of Agent’s victories. If you can’t be there in person, fret not; Agent will be streaming live right from the show floor.
For the first time ever, the LEGO Group joins in on the fun with the all-new Builders Zone. This hands-on attraction invites fans to create gaming-themed builds, contribute to a LEGO mystery mural, or embark on DreamHack quests to win shiny new LEGO sets. Unique LEGO builds will also be celebrated in a special competition on the Main Stage, with secret special guests attending.
The festival’s largest-ever Indie Playground and Artist Alley are not to be missed. Featuring over 60 game developers and 60 independent artists – almost half of them from Atlanta – this area offers the perfect setting to explore new games, collect unique pins, and join engaging activities like the Artist Alley Stamp Rally.
Record-Breaking Creator Guests
DreamHack Atlanta is breaking records this year with over 500 creators descending on the festival. This includes local and national influencers like Jake Lucky, bbjess, DrLupo, and Amouranth. Attendees will enjoy Main Stage competitions, meet & greets, and live streams directly from the Creator Hub, making for an interactive and immersive experience.
In a fascinating blend of education and high-tech fun, Georgia FIRST Robotics is bringing local high schoolers to showcase their STEM skills. Students will exhibit their industrial-size robots, designed and built by them, in a thrilling interactive showcase. It’s a great chance to see the next generation of engineers in action!
Drag & Drop Cosplay Drag Show
Adding flair and fabulousness, the Drag & Drop cosplay drag show makes its Atlanta debut this year, hosted by Emmy-nominated local artist Biqtch Puddin’. This unique spectacle will feature performances by Brigitte Bidet, LaZanya Ontré, and Dotte Com, among others. The show is set to be an entertaining blend of cosplay and drag culture, celebrating the vibrant and diverse community of gamers and performers.
All these highlights are just the tip of the iceberg for what DreamHack Atlanta has in store. Whether you’re a die-hard gamer, a creative soul, or someone looking to step into the world of competitive esports for the first time, this festival is designed to have something for everyone.
