Dan Bryan Joins Argent Trust as Senior Vice President and Director of Trust Services in Atlanta

Argent Financial Group announces the appointment of Dan Bryan as senior vice president and director of trust services in its Atlanta office. In this role, he will oversee the administration of complex, multigenerational trusts and advise clients on estate planning strategies, including managing family wealth, retirement planning, minimizing income and estate taxes, and educating future generations on family wealth and stewardship.

With more than 35 years of financial services experience—primarily in trust and wealth management—Bryan has held leadership and client advisory roles in bank wealth management departments and family office service models. He believes that serving clients and building strong relationships are key to success in the industry. For those relationships to thrive, Bryan emphasizes the importance of building a competent team of professionals whose primary goal is to deliver advice and advocate for clients’ best interests.

Bryan joins Argent Financial Group after a distinguished career at Regions Bank, where he served as fiduciary business leader and senior vice president in its private wealth management division. Prior to that, he spent 17 years at SunTrust Bank as fiduciary executive and senior vice president, as well as fiduciary services manager and senior vice president.

Based in Atlanta, Bryan will report to Chief Investment Officer John McCollum and will assist clients with trusts, probate, estate planning, and wealth management.

“We are pleased to welcome Dan to the Argent team in our Atlanta office,” said McCollum. “His extensive experience in investment management, trust administration, and estate planning will strengthen our team and enhance our ability to protect and grow our clients’ assets.”

Bryan earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing, cum laude, from Georgia Southern University. He is a graduate of the Southern Trust School and holds the Certified Financial Planner™ designation.

An active member of the professional community, Bryan previously served on the board of the Atlanta Estate Planning Council and is a member of the DeKalb Estate Planning Council. He is also a past director and board member of the Southern Trust School.

“In the myriad of wealth management businesses, honesty and integrity are what clients and their families seek as they strive to achieve their goals and dreams. Clients want and expect a wealth management firm that puts their best interests first—so they can enjoy their families, grow their businesses, and leave a legacy,” said Bryan. “I’m very excited to join Argent Financial Group, where we deliver on this promise with personalized service and advice.”

Dan is married to Laney, and they have four children—a son and three daughters. In their free time, they enjoy traveling, camping, hiking, playing golf, and listening to music. They also stay busy caring for their two golden retrievers. Dan especially loves fishing in beautiful places whenever he gets a break from the office.
