Slim Chickens Set to Expand with Ten New Locations Across Georgia!

Exciting News for Chicken Lovers in Georgia!

Hello, chicken fans! If you’re in Georgia, get ready to grab your forks because there’s some delicious news on the horizon. A fast-casual chicken franchise is spreading its wings and preparing to land in your local neighborhoods. That’s right, Slim Chickens is planning to open ten brand-new locations across several counties in Georgia!

Where Are They Opening?

The charming chicken sensation will be setting up shop in several areas including Floyd, Gordon, Bartow, Cherokee, Forsyth, Hall, Jackson, and Clarke. Those are some great spots for anyone craving some crispy, tasty chicken! So, if you reside in any of these counties, keep your eyes peeled for the new Slim Chickens!

Who’s Behind This Tasty Adventure?

Meet the driving force behind this mouthwatering expansion: Lance Burns and Mike Waller of Peach State Slims. These guys are no newbies when it comes to running a franchise; they already operate several Sonic locations! But on a recent trip to Florida, they stumbled upon Slim Chickens and knew they had to bring this delightful dining experience back to Georgia.

What’s on the Menu?

Let’s talk food! Slim Chickens opened its first location way back in 2003 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. This fantastic franchise has since grown to nearly 300 locations not just in the USA but also in Turkey, Germany, and the UK. Currently, Georgia has four locations: Warner Robins, Statesboro, Evans, and Albany.

The menu here is definitely something to get excited about! Think *crispy chicken tenders*, *sandwiches*, *wings*, *salads*, and even *chicken and waffles*. Oh, and don’t forget about the variety of scrumptious sides and a whopping 14 house-made dipping sauces! Sounds yummy, right?!

What Do the Owners Recommend?

If you’re wondering what to order, Burns has a standout recommendation: “The chicken tenders are cooked fresh every time. They are so tasty even without sauce,” he says. And if you’re with someone who appreciates a good side, his wife can’t get enough of the fried mushrooms. With options like fried okra and fried pickles, your side dish game is covered!

When Can You Dig In?

The team is currently on the lookout for real estate for these upcoming locations. While nothing is set in stone just yet, they’re aiming for their first Georgia Slim Chickens to launch by April 2026. Two areas that are on their radar are Cumming and Canton. They’re buzzing with excitement about bringing the brand to metro Atlanta, with Burns stating confidently, “The brand’s gonna be a smashing hit.”

A Growing Trend

This latest development deal is part of a larger trend, as Slim Chickens continues its expansion across the Peach State. Earlier this year, reports had suggested that another development group is also working on bringing multiple locations to Georgia and South Carolina. Looks like Slim Chickens is gearing up for quite the adventure!

In short, folks, if you love chicken — and who doesn’t? — you’ll want to keep your eyes peeled for these exciting new locations coming to Georgia. More tenders, more crowds, and definitely more flavor is coming your way! Stay tuned for updates!
