ATLANTA — Last Friday night, the excitement in the air was almost palpable as the Atlanta Hawks took on their opponents, but a special announcement stole the show! The much-loved Chick-fil-A, Inc. revealed its brand new location right inside the award-winning State Farm Arena. Packed with over 17,000 passionate fans, it was a night of basketball and tasty chicken sandwiches.
The shiny new Chick-fil-A installation is comfortably situated outside of Section 121 by Hawk Walk Market. That’s right, fans can now munch on some delicious chicken during all Hawks’ home games and concerts—just not on Sundays, of course! But don’t fret; there’s still plenty of goodness to enjoy during weekdays and Saturdays.
To celebrate this opening in true Chick-fil-A style, the company showered every attendee with an offer to claim a mouth-watering Chick-fil-A® Chicken Sandwich through their app. How cool is that? And if you happened to look up during the game, you might have seen Chick-fil-A Cows parachuting from the rafters for an unforgettable halftime show!
So what scrumptious items can fans expect from the new venue? Well, get ready for classics like the original Chick-fil-A® Chicken Sandwich and the Spicy Chicken Sandwich. If you’re more in the mood for nuggets, they even have an eight-count of those tasty Chick-fil-A® Nuggets. And don’t forget about the fan-favorite sides! You can dive into an order of Waffle Potato Fries or Waffle Potato Chips, coupled with a selection of sauces that include Barbecue, Chick-fil-A® Sauce, and more.
If you’re a fan of desserts, there’s good news for you! The new Chick-fil-A stand also features four different hand-spun milkshakes—take your pick from Cookies & Cream, Chocolate, Strawberry, or classic Vanilla. And for the chocolaty lovers out there, don’t forget to treat yourself to a Chocolate Fudge Brownie. Yum!
At the helm of this exciting new spot is T.J. Wilson, an independent franchised local Owner-Operator. Wilson started his Chick-fil-A journey back in 2015, and alongside running the State Farm Arena location, he will continue to manage a Chick-fil-A in Decatur, GA. Expressing his gratitude, Wilson said, “As a long-time fan of the Hawks and someone who enjoys attending events at this venue, I’m honored and grateful for this opportunity.”
Chick-fil-A has been a staple in Atlanta since 1967, and the company prides itself on making a real difference in the community. From fighting food insecurity to supporting education initiatives, their commitment to improving the lives of those in Atlanta runs deep. Steve Koonin, Hawks and State Farm Arena CEO, remarked, “Chick-fil-A continues to be synonymous with the best chicken sandwich in this city.” It’s safe to say that this partnership is beneficial for everyone involved!
On top of all this flavorful goodness, fans can take part in the beloved Fowl Shot Promotion during Hawks’ home games. If an opposing player misses two free throws during a fourth-quarter trip to the foul line, everyone in attendance wins a free Chick-fil-A® Sandwich via the app!
So, whether you’re in the mood for some exciting basketball or craving a little Chick-fil-A goodness, head over to State Farm Arena. There’s lots of love and quite a bit of chicken waiting for you!
