Brookhaven’s Annual Cherry Blossom Festival Returns this Weekend

Brookhaven is once again set to welcome the return of its annual cherry blossom festival after a year’s long hiatus. The eagerly anticipated free event will be hosted this weekend, Saturday, March 23, and Sunday, March 24. Visitors to the festival can anticipate numerous fun-filled activities spanning over the two-day event.

Highlights of the Festival

The centerpiece of the festival is the Splash Festival Artist Market, where more than 100 art vendors will showcase their unique works of art. A dedicated fun-filled Kidz Zone will house child-friendly games and activities, ensuring that the festival is an exciting experience for younger attendees as well. For pet lovers, the festival has introduced Pet World, a special section of the festival that features pet-friendly vendors and activities.

Gastronomy at the Festival

For foodies, the festival is not just about the cherry blossoms. There will be an array of food and beverage vendors, including well-known favorites like King of Pops, Azucar Cuban Cuisine, and Yaardie Eats. Besides, a classic car show is also on the cards for automobile enthusiasts.

On Saturday, the festival will be headlined by popular rock band +Live+. This will be followed by the Barenaked Ladies performing on Sunday. Other acts include well-known bands like Sister Hazel and Crash Test Dummies, promising a diverse and versatile musical experience for attendees of all tastes.
