The team at Avila Real Estate has taken the initiative to demolish the 13 acres of concrete that currently occupy the site, all in preparation for a brand-new mixed-use development. According to Jetha Wagner, the vice president of Avila Real Estate, the demolition process should be wrapped up within the next couple of months. A revamped street grid will also be part of the plan. Roads such as Oak, Lake, and Center Streets could be extended, as will Parry Street, allowing for easier navigation in the new neighborhood. A new entrance off Laredo Drive is set to connect with the internal street system, ensuring smooth traffic flow.
