For DreTL, performing at the iconic State Farm Arena during halftime of the Hawks vs. Lakers game was a dream come true. “I worked there for years, and recently I was just focused on my job,” he reminisced. “To go from working there to performing on that very stage is surreal.” He laughed as he recalled how his cousin had always predicted that he’d one day be the one in the spotlight.
Graduation and New Beginnings
As if winning a major competition wasn’t enough, DreTL is also on the cusp of graduating from Georgia State University. “It’s all happening at the same time, and I feel like it’s just all God’s blessing,” he expressed with gratitude.
