Hey Atlanta! The holiday season is upon us, and it seems like the city’s entertainment scene is just as excited as we are! Mark your calendars because there is a sleigh-load of fun headed your way. Keep those hats and mittens ready because, come December 9, 2024, you’ll be treated to an unforgettable evening.
Celebrating a whopping 54 years in show business, the one and only Robert Ray is back with his latest holiday concert, “Joy to the World”. The Virginia Highlands Church is going to be filled with magic when Ray takes the stage at 7:00 PM. Known far and wide for his exceptional vocal talent and masterful piano moves, Ray will lead a cast of the who’s-who of Atlanta’s music scene.
The stellar lineup includes voices like Jonathan Blalock, Amy Little, and a host of other talented artists, all set to mesmerize the audience. Accompanied by a seven-piece orchestra, this concert is the perfect way to ring in the festive spirit. They’ll be performing a delicious mix of holiday favorites including “Joy to the World,” “Where Are You Christmas,” and “O Holy Night”.
If you’re ready for an evening filled with melody and mirth, get those tickets rolling. VIP seats are priced at $100, while General Admission tickets are available at $60. Tickets can be snagged via Robert Ray’s Venmo handle: @broadwayboy80. For those who prefer other payment options, shoot an email to robertraysing@comcast.net. Don’t let this one slip by!
Now, if musicals tickle your fancy, from December 6-29, 2024, feast your eyes on A Year with Frog and Toad—a delightful performance that has audiences hopping to their feet! Brought to life by Synchronicity Theatre, this award-winning gem is back for the eighth time. Enjoy a tale from page to stage with a good helping of jazzy tunes and whimsical fun!
There’s no stopping the winter excitements in Atlanta! Step into the world of mystery with CLUE, the thrilling murder mystery comedy hitting the Fox Theatre from January 28 to February 2, 2025. Inspired by the classic Hasbro board game, it’s bound to keep you on the edge of your seat.
If you’re into something a little more playful, the fabulous Ginger Minj of RUPAUL’S DRAG RACE fame is bringing her new holiday show, SOUTHERN COMFORT AND JOY, to Atlanta. Expect a night filled with stories, holiday classics, and perhaps even some audience participation!
Finally, for those of you mesmerized by graceful dance and timeless scores, look no further than the Grand Kyiv Ballet. They’re touring their enchanting rendition of The Nutcracker across over 100 cities, spreading the holiday cheer this season.
The festive bug is certainly buzzing louder than ever, and we couldn’t be more excited! Be sure to immerse yourself in Atlanta’s vibrant entertainment tapestry and create unforgettable holiday memories. Keep your eyes peeled for more announcements and, who knows, maybe even a holiday miracle!
