ATLANTA — The Atlanta Police Department’s Auto Crimes Enforcement Unit recently took action against street racing activities in the city. On August 25, officers were on alert and heard the sounds of tires screeching, accompanied by smoke emerging near the location of 1430 Hill Place NW.

While awaiting the arrival of reinforcements, one officer noticed a red BMW M4 attempting to leave the area. This specific car had already been identified from street cameras and multiple social media posts as a participant in street racing events throughout Atlanta.

The officer managed to stop the BMW at a gas station on Collier Road NW. At the scene, the driver, 22-year-old Nathaniel Adike, was arrested.
