Atlanta’s Real Estate Community Celebrates Landmark Achievements by LGBTQ+ Professionals

Pride in Real Estate

Exciting News from Atlanta’s Real Estate Scene

Atlanta, the vibrant city known for its rich history and rapid growth, is buzzing with exciting news from its real estate sector. A remarkable achievement was recently announced by the LGBTQ+ Real Estate Alliance, highlighting the exceptional talents within our community in the industry. One standout among them is Christa Huffstickler, the Founder and CEO of Engel & Völkers Atlanta, who was named the No. 1 individual agent for sales nationwide.

A Record-Breaking Year for Christa Huffstickler

Christa made waves this year, leading all individual Alliance members by achieving an impressive 116 transaction sides and a whopping $89.9 million in sales volume for 2023. This achievement isn’t just a personal triumph; it reflects the hard work and dedication of LGBTQ+ real estate professionals across the nation. Overall, this year’s honorees collectively showed remarkable strength by representing a total of $5.95 billion in sales volume and 10,776 transaction sides in 2023.

The Impact of the LGBTQ+ Community in Real Estate

The LGBTQ+ Real Estate Alliance is more than just a network; it’s a force for change in the industry. Alliance President Anita Legacy Blue emphasized this point in a recent press release, stating, “While the numbers that our members generate on our yearly top producers list are certainly cause for excitement, they only represent half the story of the impact that the LGBTQ+ Real Estate Alliance has on the real estate industry.” This statement underlines the significant influence and contributions of LGBTQ+ and ally professionals within real estate.

Local Stars Shine Bright

But it’s not just Huffstickler shining brightly; the Atlanta area boasts several other remarkable agents making it to the top 25 list in various categories. For example, Susan Kliesen from RE/MAX Center in Duluth grabbed a tie for 13th place with 45 sides this year, while Justin Ziegler of Coldwell Banker Realty in Decatur ranked 22nd with 40.75 sides. Notably, Huffstickler stands out as the only Atlanta-area agent among the top 25 for individual sales volume.

Team Efforts in the Atlanta Area

When it comes to team efforts, two remarkable groups are making their mark. The Tim Hur and Helen Nguyen Team at Point Honors and Associates in Duluth ranked 12th with 143 transactions, while The Zac Team at RE/MAX Metro Atlanta Cityside came in 18th place with 95 sides. However, there were no Atlanta teams in the top 25 for sales volume this time, which gives room for future growth and recognition.

A Bright Future Ahead

As this year closes, the achievements of these real estate professionals serve as a reminder of the vibrant energy and talent present within Atlanta and the larger LGBTQ+ community. Their hard work points to a future filled with potential and success. The data reflects not just individual accomplishments, but a wave of change and empowerment for marginalized communities.

In summary, Atlanta is not just a city of history but also one fostering innovation and excellence within the real estate sector. The achievements of Huffstickler and her colleagues tell a story of resilience, passion, and community strength that is likely to inspire the next generation of real estate professionals. Here’s to more milestones and accomplishments in the years to come!
