Atlanta, the cultural and economic hub of Southern United States welcomes party aficionados to witness a grand spectacle, the Artival, this winter. Coalescing the excitement of a carnival and the profundity of an art show, Artival burst onto the scenes, promising to infuse music, dance, art, food, and joy to the city’s nightlife. Billed as Carnival vs Mardi Gras, Artival will showcase the heritage of Carnival cultures from around the globe under a single expansive warehouse roof.
The creative minds behind Artival envisaged an event where the rich tapestry of local art blends with the infectious Carnival vibes. The carnival cultures spanning from Brazil to Colombia and the Islands are slated to make their way into the heart of Atlanta, offering locals and tourists a taste of diverse traditions. Situated aptly at our sprawling warehouse space in the center of ATL at 1310 Seaboard Ave, the venue is primed for an evening of extraordinary festivities.
The cornerstone of any great carnival, live music and costumed dancers, will rule the roost at Artival. Attendees can expect an array of local musicians serving tunes that invigorate the night and costumed dancers bringing the Carnival atmosphere to life. Food vendors will light up the event with an array of culinary delights while drink connoisseurs will get to sample spirited offerings.
Art aficionados are in for a surprise too. The event will host numerous Atlanta-based artists and vendors, presenting their intriguing works amid the carnival festivities. Attendees will be given a glimpse into the thriving local artistic landscape, thus enriching their carnival experience.
Artival promises to be a carnival like no other. The event encourages attendees to embrace Carnival’s vibrant ethos, reflected in their vibrant attire. With twerking, outrageous outfits, and colorful feathers as part of the celebrations, participants are set for an electric experience.
From 08:00 PM EDT on Saturday, March 16, 2024, the warehouse at 1310 Seaboard Ave will turn into a carnival paradise. Entry is priced between $10-$50, welcoming spectators from varying economic backgrounds. There is plenty of free parking available, to compound the convenience.
The competition is between Carnival and Artigras, therefore, the organizers urge attendees to go all out in terms of participation and celebration. Both the cultural celebrations are renowned for their energetic and vibrant moods, setting the stage for a remarkable showdown at the Atlanta Art Events.
Artival promises an experience that is as educational as it is entertaining. From getting a taste of diverse carnival cultures to exploring the local art scene, this event is set to become a must-visit in Atlanta’s social calendar.
