Atlanta – This September and October, Atlanta is buzzing with a variety of exciting events that promise to entertain and inspire residents and visitors alike. From a beloved food festival to thrilling design expositions, there is something for everyone in this vibrant city.
From September 12–15, the ATLANTA FOOD & WINE FESTIVAL is back for its 13th year, bringing a fun big top bazaar theme to the city. The three-day event will feature carnival-style tasting tents where guests can sample a variety of Southern cuisine and beverages. A collection of chefs, mixologists, and farmers will come together to offer a culinary journey through the South’s rich food and drink traditions. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Children of Conservation’s school lunch program.
Running from September 16—19, the Fall edition of CASUAL MARKET ATLANTA is set to return. Spread across six floors of showrooms and temporary exhibits, the market will feature over 120 brands showcasing outdoor furniture, performance fabrics, and more. The event is open to trade professionals only.
September 18—20 marks the annual SWAN COACH HOUSE FLEA MARKET hosted by the Forward Arts Foundation. Shoppers can look forward to a variety of items including furniture, antiques, and home accessories. The market officially opens on September 19, preceded by a Preview Party on the evening of September 18. All proceeds will benefit the Forward Arts Foundation.
From September 21—22, the BUCKHEAD ARTS FESTIVAL will take place in the heart of Buckhead. Featuring more than 100 artists including painters, photographers, and sculptors, the two-day event offers art demonstrations and live music, making it a must-visit for art lovers.
On September 24, renowned designer TIMOTHY CORRIGAN will unveil his latest book, At Home in France: Inspiration & Style in Town & Country. The event, organized by the French Heritage Society Atlanta Chapter, will include a cocktail and wine reception followed by a lecture.
From September 24—26, Atlanta will host DISCOVER ADAC, a three-day event aimed at the design industry. Attendees can look forward to keynote speakers, showroom presentations, and the opportunity to mingle with industry professionals including renowned designers and authors.
The SERENBE DESIGNER SHOWHOUSE will run from September 27—October 20. Located in the Overlook Hamlet of Serenbe, the charming residence will feature the work of 11 talented local interior designers. Proceeds will benefit the Decorative Arts Fellowship.
From September 28 — October 6, the ATLANTA DESIGN FESTIVAL will invite design professionals and enthusiasts to explore Atlanta’s innovative design scene. The festival will feature installations, exhibitions, tours, film screenings, and panels.
Save the date for October 7—8 for DESIGN MATTERS, North Carolina’s premier event series dedicated to design, art, and architecture. This year’s series will support the Fitch Family Comprehensive Pediatric Rehabilitation Program at UNC Children’s Hospital.
Set for October 17, the GRAND TASTING MIDTOWN promises an evening of culinary delights with the finest chefs, restaurants, and beverage experts. Guests can enjoy gourmet dishes, perfectly paired wines, and craft cocktails.
