Atlanta’s Garden Lights, Holiday Nights to Dazzle Again Starting November 16

Atlanta — Anticipation is building as Atlanta Botanical Garden gears up for its 14th annual Garden Lights, Holiday Nights spectacle, which opens on November 16 and runs nightly through January 12. Tapped as the nation’s best professional light display by ABC-TV in 2023, this year’s event promises to be even more mesmerizing.

Tickets for this enchanting light show will go on sale to the general public starting October 1. However, those who are eager for early access and discounted prices can secure their tickets as early as September 1 by becoming Garden members. Memberships are available at membership@atlantabg.org.

What’s New This Year?

This year’s show, presented by Invesco QQQ, will feature an expanded “Nature’s Wonders” display. The beloved curtain of light, set in the woodlands and synchronized to music, will include more vertical strands than ever before. Adding to the magic, some of the giant, topiary-like plant sculptures from this summer’s blockbuster exhibition Alice’s Wonderland Returns will be dramatically lit, including towering figures like the White Rabbit, the chess set, and the Cheshire Cat.

Returning by popular demand are the illuminated metal sculptures by French artist Cedric Le Borgne. Attendees will delight in seeing the two grazing deer and six birds either perched among the hardwoods or taking flight through the treetops.

Accolades and Continuing Success

Last year’s Garden Lights, Holiday Nights was honored as the best professional light display in the country by ABC’s prime-time show The Great Christmas Light Fight after competing in the Heavyweights division. The prestigious Light Fight trophy can be viewed at the Hardin Visitor Center within the Garden.
