Just ask Danielle Neptune, a local mom who can’t help but smile when talking about the impact of this event. “Helping out the community and seeing the kids,” she says. “It’s a great impact, and it shows the kids someone cares for them.” Heartwarming, isn’t it?

And get this: this year’s party is going to be bigger and brighter than ever. The fire department is stepping it up by ensuring that 400 children walk away with something special to place under their Christmas tree. Now, it’s not just the firefighters who are chipping in to make this happen. Other groups, like the Atlanta-based biker club known as the Black Angels, are rolling in to lend a hand. The club’s very own Biker Doc sheds some light on why they join the festivities. “Sometimes people are going through bad things, and they can’t do for their children. We’re like big kids. We ride motorcycles. We like to play outside. We like toys, too!” Well, more power—and horsepower—to them!
