Early Morning Violence in Downtown Atlanta

In an unsettling incident of violence, two women were reportedly shot in the early hours of the morning in downtown Atlanta. The altercation took place in a parking lot on Northside Drive, shaking the metropolitan hub. The victims, a 22-year-old and a 21-year-old, were reportedly inside a vehicle in the 500 block of Northside near Meldrum Street NW when the shooting took place.

Details of the Incident

The shocking incident occurred shortly before 2:30 a.m. on June 11, 2024, according to Atlanta police. One woman was shot in the face and the other was grazed by a bullet.
