Atlanta is gearing up for its 89th Annual Dogwood Festival, set to take place from April 11 to 13, 2025. This beloved festival will transform Piedmont Park into a vibrant celebration of creativity and community.
With its origins dating back to 1936, the Atlanta Dogwood Festival is recognized as one of the largest and most diverse juried arts festivals in the United States. This year, festival-goers can expect to see more than 260 talented artists showcasing their creations from all across the country.
The main attraction of the event is undoubtedly the Artist’s Market, where over 250 artists will present their work in 12 different categories. From painting and clay to glass and mixed media, there’s something for every art lover!
This year’s festival will also feature the Atlanta High School Art Exhibition (AHSAE), highlighting the artistic talents of young visual artists in the Atlanta area. Moreover, there will be a series of awards and judging conducted by officials to celebrate the outstanding work produced by participating artists.
Music will fill the air with performances taking place at the Coca-Cola Main Stage, featuring various artists and musical genres over the three-day period. Headliners such as Left on Blue and Gimme Hendrix will entertain the crowds with their dynamic performances.
Visitors will also be treated to an International Stage, showcasing performances from Atlanta’s diverse global communities, adding a multicultural flair to the festival.
For those looking to elevate their festival experience, the Party in the Park VIP Experience offers an exclusive area complete with craft beers, wines, cocktails, and a preselected lunch menu. Guests will enjoy seating overlooking the main stage, along with access to private restroom facilities and a VIP cash bar.
Adding to the excitement, the festival will host a Mimosa 5K race on April 12, winding through the historic Midtown area—a perfect way to kick off a day of fun and festivities.
Families will not be left out, as the festival includes a Kids Village where children can engage in hands-on arts and crafts, enjoy puppet shows, face painting, inflatables, and even bubble fun!
The Artist Market will close at 7 PM on both Friday and Saturday evenings, and best of all, admission is free for everyone!
As the festival approaches, excitement is building, with high expectations for unforgettable experiences and lasting memories in store for all attendees. Mark your calendars for this vibrant celebration of art, culture, and community!
