Police Search for Suspect After Fatal Shooting at Atlanta Barbershop

Early Wednesday morning, a serious incident took place at a barbershop in West Midtown Atlanta, resulting in the death of a 34-year-old man. Police are currently on the lookout for the suspect who is believed to be responsible for this unfortunate event.
The incident occurred around 5 a.m. at the Barberlon Emporium, located on the 1000 block of Howell Mill Road, near the junction with 10th Street and not far from the Georgia Tech campus. Responding to a call, officers found a man fatally shot inside the barbershop.
According to Atlanta Homicide Commander Lt. Andrew Smith, the tragic event unfolded when a group of men were spending time at the barbershop after a night out. During their time there, an argument broke out between two men. One of the men then pulled out a gun and fired a shot, which unfortunately ended the life of the other man.
While authorities have not yet released the identity of the victim, it was confirmed that he was 34 years old. The gunman is still at large. However, Lt. Smith stated that investigators have a strong lead on the suspect’s identity.
