New Anti-Trump Billboard Set To Appear Near Saturday’s Rally in Atlanta

New Anti-Trump Billboard Set To Appear Near Saturday’s Rally in Atlanta

Hey, Atlanta folks! You know how we always have the scoop on current happenings in our beloved city, right? Well, in keeping with that spirit, we’ve got some piping hot news for you. Get this- a new massive billboard is going to be hitting our streets this Saturday, and it’s got a lot of people talking!

Our little birdies have told us that the Democratic National Committee (DNC) is behind this move. They’re launching a mobile billboard highlighting none other than the former U.S. President and presently Republican Presidential nominee, Donald J. Trump. And here’s the kicker, it’s not exactly a tribute!

The Billboard’s Theme

This giant moving billboard is supposed to feature statements and actions from Trump’s past, particularly those perceived as racist and disrespectful toward the Black community. In simpler words, the DNC is using this billboard to put Trump’s questionable moments and blunders on full display, for everyone to see.

The plan, we are told, is for the billboard to circle around the Georgia State University Convocation Center, right in the heart of our Summerhill neighborhood, where Trump, alongside his vice-presidential nominee Vance, will be holding a rally.

What Spurred This?

Well, we can’t say it’s too surprising, can we? After all, it was just this week when Trump sparked a huge controversy with his behavior at the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) convention in Chicago. His conduct during his appearance there got tongues wagging, and not in a good way.

According to DNC’s Senior Spokesperson, Marcus W. Robinson, Trump’s behavior at the NABJ revealed once again what Black voters across our nation have known for years: Trump doesn’t genuinely care about their communities or the issues that concern them.

The Billboard’s Content

Coming back to the billboard, it’s going to feature a 1 minute and 6 seconds long ad, utilizing various clips of Trump’s quotes and soundbites. These clips are all instances where Trump has supposedly made racist remarks or demonstrated disrespectful behavior.

So folks, if you were curious about what’s going to be the talk of the town this weekend, you’ve got your answer! This unprecedented move by the DNC is surely going to create some buzz in the city. So, whether you’re planning to attend the rally or just driving past the Convocation Center this Saturday, do check out this billboard. It’s bound to be an interesting sight!

Will this billboard manage to make a dent? Well, time will tell. But one thing’s for certain, it’s going to be an eventful Saturday here in Atlanta! As always, remember – your voice matters, your vote counts. Be informed, make a choice!
