ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) –

More than a month after three 18-year-olds were killed in a single-car accident, the driver is facing several charges, Fulton County Jail records show. Rithwak Somepalli, 18, was booked on Wednesday. He faces three counts of felony first-degree homicide by vehicle and one count of reckless driving.

The crash happened in Alpharetta on May 14. Around 8 p.m., police were called to Westside Parkway near Maxwell Road, where they said a car had crashed into trees and flipped upside down near a bend in the road.
