Hello there, Atlanta! It’s time to celebrate some truly fantastic news about our high school seniors. The Georgia Department of Education (GADOE) has just announced that we hit record-high graduation rates for 2024. And boy, are we proud!

What the Numbers Are Telling Us

84.4% in 2023 to a remarkable 85.4% in 2024. That’s a jump of a full percentage point! It might not sound like much at first, but when you consider the thousands of students this affects, it’s a big deal.

190 school districts across Georgia, 115 districts reported graduation rates at or above 90%. And if you think that’s impressive, check this out—44 districts celebrated graduation rates at or above 95%! Wow!
