Atlanta Hosts Its Fine Art Print Fair Highlighting Renowned Artists

The Artists and Their Work

Steve Prince
Steve Prince, a renowned printmaker, is revealing a fresh 24” x 36” print inspired by James Baldwin. Catch this: folks visiting the fair can watch Prince work his magic through a hands-on workshop, from coming up with the concept to printing an edition. He’s also going to lead a talk about how artists serve as emotional and spiritual historians. Sounds intense, doesn’t it?
Traci Mims
Next up, we have Traci Mims from our very own Atlanta, bringing her diverse artistry to the table. She’s no one-trick pony, her portfolio boasts printmaking, painting, drawing, quilting, and sculpture. She focuses on themes of Black identity, culture, and social justice in her work. Guess what, she’s also revealing a print of James Baldwin at the event. She’s been sweeping up accolades, including the McClain Award for Relief Printmaking and an Artist Fellowship Inc. Grant. Look out for her!
Jamaal Barber
Last, but not least, the accomplished printmaker and visual artist, Jamaal Barber, will grace the fair with his new works. He’ll show off everything from his interpretation of James Baldwin to a metal sculpture that talks printmaking and multiplicity.
