Atlanta to Host Inaugural U.S. Global Black Pride
The metropolis of Atlanta has proudly been selected to host the first-ever U.S. Global Black Pride, a significant milestone for both the city and the country overall. The celebratory event is aimed at saluting and promoting the unique culture and heritage of the Black LGBTQI+ community.
Notably, the U.S. iteration of the Global Black Pride follows the inaugural in-person event held in Toronto, Canada in 2022. This monumental occasion will take place between August 26 and September 2, 2024. The timing of this event aligns aptly with the Atlanta Black Pride Weekend, providing a perfect setup for a robust, week-long celebration featuring an exciting blend of festivities, performances, discussions, and a much-anticipated human rights conference, among other activities.
