J’ouvert Caribbean Kitchen & Bar

Location: 558 Main St NE, Atlanta

Expected to welcome patrons from 20th March onwards, J’ouvert Caribbean Kitchen & Bar is the latest venture from seasoned restaurateur, Tasha Cyril. Named after a St.Lucian Carnival, J’ouvert boasts offerings that are inspired by Caribbean flavors. Among the standout dishes are jalapeno-and-cheddar cornbread with whipped goat cheese and red pepper jam and a slow-cooked 24-hour-marinated jerk wings that come with a mouth-watering pineapple sauce.

Pendolino

Location: 4600 Roswell Rd suite b150, Atlanta

Kevin Maxey, known for his previous stints at Superica and Ford Fry Restaurants, will soon unveil Pendolino on March 18. The Italian restaurant is the first from the stables of Maxey’s new hospitality group, KRM Hospitality. Pendolino’s menu is a blend of Italian and Southern cuisine and some proposed items include pasta, pizza, and meat and seafood prepared in a wood-fired oven.

Damsel

Location: 1235 Chattahoochee Avenue, Suite 110, Atlanta

Set to open its doors in late March, Damsel adorns a unique concept of intermixing a cabaret experience with sumptuous dining, all under an art deco theme. The expansive two-story restaurant will feature a private lounge and rooftop patio, with offerings served on food carts to build an avant-garde dining experience.

Miss Conduck

Location: 357 Edgewood Avenue, Atlanta

April is set to welcome Miss Conduck, a Caribbean-themed restaurant from mother-daughter duo Emily James and LaToya Franklyn. Despite harboring a brand-new culinary theme, the restaurant promises to maintain the lively vibe of the previous occupant. Patrons can look forward to lively events like games, karaoke, and speed dating, in addition to a gastronomic feast.

Gene’s

Location: 2371 Hosea L. Williams Dr SE Building 1, Atlanta

Avery Cottrell’s successful pop-up venture, Gene’s, will take over the erstwhile Salaryman space adjacent to Poor Hendrix in East Lake. Food lovers can look forward to experiencing a quirky and cozy ambience that reminds one of the bars along the Gulf Coast.
